Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ClipGanji (clipganji.com) is a Captivart product run by Kevin Milo. It connects brands with clippers and creators who post promotional clips on social media. Questions about this policy or your data: wanami33@gmail.com. We handle personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

2. What we collect

  • Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, plus an account identifier used to link the sign-in to your ClipGanji account.
  • Clipper profile: full name, phone number, county, social handles and follower counts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), posting frequency, content types, audience description and sample clip links.
  • Payout details: your chosen payout method and either an M-PESA number or bank name and account number.
  • Brand accounts and briefs: company and contact name, email, phone, campaign details and any logo you upload.
  • UGC marketplace: creator profile details (display name, location, rates, niches, languages, portfolio and social links) and job requests.
  • Activity: clip submissions, campaign enrolments, earnings, payout records, disputes and messages sent through our contact form.
  • Technical data: when something breaks, we log error details, which may include your browser user agent and IP address, to fix the problem.

3. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To review applications, run campaigns, verify submitted clips and calculate earnings.
  • To pay clippers and creators and keep payout records.
  • To send service emails such as approvals, payout notices and replies to your messages.
  • To prevent fraud, resolve disputes and keep the platform working.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Google user data

Data we receive from Google (name, email address and profile picture) is used only to sign you in and to identify your ClipGanji account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below that host our platform. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run ClipGanji, and only as needed:

  • Cloudflare – website hosting and delivery.
  • Supabase – database and file storage (for example, brand logos).
  • Resend – sending service emails.
  • Google – sign-in, if you choose it.
  • Safaricom M-PESA or your bank – to send payouts to the number or account you give us.
  • Brands – contact details are shared only when needed to deliver a confirmed job, and approved creator profiles are shown publicly as described in our UGC terms. Phone numbers and email addresses are never shown publicly.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Payout and earnings records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, tax or dispute purposes. Error logs are kept only as long as needed to fix problems.

7. Your rights and deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing wanami33@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will act on deletion requests promptly, keeping only records we are legally required to retain. You can also remove ClipGanji’s access from your Google account settings at any time.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to admin tools is restricted, and payment details are visible only to the people who process payouts. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Children

ClipGanji is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell account holders about significant changes. See also our Terms of Service.
