Clipper Terms of Service

1. Eligibility Requirements

To participate as a Clipper on ClipGanji, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have active social media accounts on approved platforms
• Meet minimum follower requirements as specified per campaign
• Comply with Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 requirements

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Content Submission Requirements

All submitted content must:
• Comply with campaign-specific briefs and guidelines
• Be original content created by you
• Not contain copyrighted material without permission
• Comply with platform terms of service
• Be submitted within campaign deadlines

4. View Verification

Views are verified through platform analytics and manual review. ClipGanji reserves the right to reject views that appear fraudulent or manipulated. Payment is made only for verified, legitimate views.

5. Payment Structure

• Payments are calculated based on verified views per campaign rates
• Rates are specified in each campaign brief (KSh per 1,000 views)
• Nothing in a campaign is paid until your accumulated verified views across all your clips in that campaign reach 5,000 (rejected or bot-flagged clips don’t count). Once you pass 5,000, all your approved clips in that campaign earn normally
• Clipping campaigns carry no ClipGanji fee; payouts of KSh 500 or more go out every Friday at 5 PM
• Payments are processed within 14 days of view verification
• Minimum payout threshold applies (KSh 1,000)
• Payment methods available: M-Pesa, Bank Transfer

6. Data Consent

By using ClipGanji, you consent to:
• Collection of your personal data for account management
• Collection of social media analytics for payment processing
• Sharing of campaign performance data with brand partners
• Processing of payment information for compensation
All data processing complies with Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:
• Submit fraudulent or manipulated content
• Use bots or artificial means to inflate views
• Submit content containing hate speech, violence, or illegal content
• Violate platform community guidelines
• Share confidential campaign information

8. Intellectual Property Rights

You retain ownership of your content but grant ClipGanji and partner brands:
• Right to use submitted content for promotional purposes
• Right to modify content for brand compliance
• Right to display content in marketing materials
These rights are granted for the duration specified in campaign agreements.

9. Account Suspension

Your account may be suspended or terminated for:
• Submission of fraudulent content
• Violation of platform guidelines
• Multiple policy violations
• Request for removal under data protection laws

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through:
• Internal review process
• Mediation as required by Kenyan law
• Courts of Kenya as final jurisdiction
